Eva Novrup Redvall

Associate Professor

My research focuses on film and media production, particularly screenwriting and creative collaboration. I also study broader issues related to Danish/Nordic cinema and drama series, among them questions of industry structures, of practitioners’ agency and authorship and of cultural and film policy.

From September 2019 until February 2023 I am the Principal Investigator of the research project Reaching Young Audiences: Serial fiction and cross-media storyworlds for children and young audiences supported by Independent Research Fund Denmark.

Possible conflicts of interest

I have been a film critic for the daily Danish newspaper Information since 1999 and I regularly do presentations and occasionally preprare reports for the national and international film and television industries. I am a board member of The Danish Film Institute and Carl Th. Dreyers Mindefond.
