    Research: Brief description

    Ann-Louise Holten, Ph.D. is Associate Professor in Work and Organizational Psychology at the Department of Psychology.

    From 2009 to 2013, she was member of the executive committee for the European Association of Work and Organizational Psychology (EAWOP) and responsible for the biennual EAWOP post doc summer schools. She serves as associate editor for Journal of Applied Behavioural Science (JABS). She is also a member of the extended editorial board for the Scandinavian Journal of Work and Organizational Psychology.

    Ann-Louise Holten's overall research interests capture leadership processes. More specifically, she is interested in the nature of leadership, how it is developed and applied and with which implications. She also focuses on organizational change processes and entrepreneurship. Her work is primarily quantitative, but she also works with mixed methods. She has experience with designing, performing, and evaluating intervention studies. Her work has appeared in the European Journal of Industrial Relations, Work & Stress, Journal of Advanced Nursing, Leadership & Organization Development Journal, Journal of Leadership Studies, Management Decision.

    Currently, Ann-Louise Holten is program leader for the work and organizational psychology (WOP) master programme at the department. She is also course coordinator for the WOP master course. She has a Ph.D. in Political Science from the European University Institute in Florence, Italy.
