My primary research areas are within screen production and location studies with a focus on the Arctic and the Nordic region. Among other things, I have published on Arctic and Nordic screen production in and about Greenland, Greenlandic film production, Danish Greenlandic literature, location work, transnational collaboration, and runaway production.

My research project is a production and location study of screen production in and about Greenland. I am interested in screen production in (ultra)small nations, the use of location, and how place specific conditions influence production processes.

The project examines the historical development in the screen production in and about Greenland, what characterizes the conditions today as well as the possibilites and challenges - both in terms of access, policies, and aesthetics. The main supervisor is associate professor Eva Novrup Redvall.

Among other things, I have taught a course on film theory and analysis at UCPH, a lecture on Arctic screen industries at University of Greenland, and supervised MA and BA students.
