My specific area is 'Patient-oriented medicines' meaning transforming clinical medical practice into a social one where patients' life context is taken into consideration; as well as developing new drugs which are flexible to patients' needs in daily life. Current projects are:

    1. Improving patient centered communication in community pharmacy
    2. Facilitating implementation of personalized drug forms in society (such as 3D printed medicines)
    3. Development of patient centered drugs based on improved acceptability
    4. Supporting prudent use of antibiotics in South-East Europe

Some of the achievements in relation to these topics are a new post-curriculum training for pharmacy staff in 'mentalizing' and a research protocol to explore daily behaviours of antibiotic use which have been used in 13 countries.

To support these activities I am the secretary of PCNE, editorial board member of Pharmacy mdpi, APV task force for Patient Centric Drug Development member, and mentor under the UCPH programme for Assistant Professors.
