Associate Professor
Image Analysis, Computational Modelling and Geometry
Universitetsparken 1, 2100 København Ø
Teaching
Computer Science (Datalogi), Digital Image Processing (Digital Billedanalyse), Computer Vision (Datamatsyn), Robot Vision, Pattern Recognition (Machine Learning)
Primary fields of research
My main research areas are 3D Computer Vision, Image Analysis, and Pattern Recognition. The research is cross disciplinary, involves basic as well as applied research, and is theoretical as wll as experimental.Current research
My research activities include work within Image Analysis and Computer Vision. Recently I have applied such methods in the detection of signs and signals along railways, in agriculture (detection of weed from drone images), in the food industry (automation within slaughterhouses). Previous work includes areas as non-rigid structure from motion, image coding, feature point detection, descriptors, stereo image analysis, etc.
