Teaches basic ecology and environmental science for bachelor student under the study programs Natural Resources and Animal Science. Other subject areas are parasitology and wildlife management. Research areas include a wide range of topics within ecology and environmental science. The focus is on zoonotic diseases and the population dynamics of the reservoir host populations. A significant part of the research is conducted in collaboration with medical professionals. The most recent research include studies of tick borne diseases, leptospirosis and the tapeworm Echinococcus multilocularis.
