Morten Broberg's research is focused on three areas:
- International development law
- Behavioural law and economics
- European Union law
Amongst those topics that Professor Broberg presently works on are:
- Climate change
- Good governance (including ways of addressing corruption)
- New approaches to law (behavioural science, game theory and statistics)

Teaching
Morten Broberg teaches on the Law Faculty's BA and MA programmes. Moreover, he also teaches on the Social Sciences Faculty's Master in Global Development.
Morten Broberg supervises MA students and Ph.D. students within the fields of International Development Law, European Union Law, Constitutional Law, Climate Change Law and Human Rights Law.
