Primary fields of research
I head the 'Microchimerism epidemiology' (ME) research group, which investigates the association between alien cells and women's health. Many women harbor cells from other individuals in her body - a phenomenon known as microchimerism. Alien cells often origin from pregnancy, and microchimerism seems significant for women's health. Moreover, I am head of study for the bachelor's and master's educational programs in public health science, head of the school of public health, and chairman of the study board for public health science and blobal health.
