My Ph.D. project focuses on the association between air pollution, climate change, and respiratory medicine, with a special focus on acute lower respiratory infection, and COVID-19.
I have a broad research interest in environmental epidemiology, environmental planning, and public health to untangle the complex intersection of environmental change, human health, and policy intervention.
Primary fields of research
Environmental Epidemiology
The short-and long-term exposure to air pollution and acute respiratory infection (COVID-19, Pneumonia, influenza), chronic respiratory disease (COPD and Asthma), cognitive dysfunction, mental health, and degenerative nerve diseases.
Environment Planning
Energy-Environment-Health Nexus, Health Burden of Environmental and Climate Change, Energy System Transition, Carbon Neutralization, Emission Management.
