Jesper S. Schou (JSS), born 29/1 1969, has extensive experience in research, research management, and research-based public-sector services. From August 2014 JSS is employed at IFRO (UCPH) as associated professor. He is managing the Section for Production, Markets and Policy, and is responsible for the departments Public Sector Service contract with the Ministry of Food and Environment. JSS is frequently used as a knowledge person on topics regarding the economic performance of the agricultural sector and the role of agriculture in the Danish economy.
Primary fields of research
His research interests comprise agricultural economics; nature management and provision of public goods; agricultural policies and the environment; and policy analysis.
