Anne Sofie Hammer is a veterinary pathologist and daily coordinator for the Veterinary Pathology Service of the DK-VET consortium. Anne Sofie Hammer is also biosafety officer for BSL2 and BSL3 necropsy rooms used by the Veterinary Pathology Service.
Anne Sofie Hammer have special interest and expertise in pathological methods applied in diagnostics, research and surveillance of diseases and have special expertise in diseases of Scandinavian wildlife and domestic carnivores.
Research focus has mainly been on prevention and diagnostics of infectious diseases, including investigations of diseases like distemper, influenza, SARS-CoV-2 and Aleutian disease virus.
