DataLabs
The University of Copenhagen has five data labs that support and strengthen the data science capacity at the university. There are four faculty-based labs, and a fifth data lab in the central unit KU-IT. The five labs provide advice to researchers with specific questions and needs, hold courses and workshops and can enter into collaboration with researchers on projects.
Their services include:
- Data collection (text, data, signals, images)
- Processing of data (including algorithm design, statistical modelling and computer-based calculations on a large scale)
- Analysis of results (statistically well-founded conclusions)
The aim is for all UCPH researchers to have access to relevant e-infrastructure and to provide advice and guidance about data research. Datalabs offers guidance to all interested UCPH researchers. The researchers are encouraged to start by contacting their faculty lab.
