Core facilities at the Department of Experimental Medicine
A number of core facilities incl. breeding of zebra fish for experiments and facilities for experimental research. -

Core facilities within biotech, incl. High-Throughput Cell Based Screening, DNA Sequencing and In Vivo Imaging. -
Biofilm Test Facility
Offers specialised biofilm models to test chemical compounds or dressing under in vivo-like conditions. -
Center for Advanced Bioimaging
The Centre has advanced microscope systems and an array of instrument park to rival the best in the world. (TJEK) Also offers training. -
Chemical Biology & HTS Facility
Offers expertise and advice on planning and conducting biochemical and biological screening and analyses. -
CCore Facility for Flowcytometry
Offers access to the latest instruments for cell sorting and flowcytometri. -
Core Facility for Integrated Microscopy
Offers access to a number of leading light and electron microscopes, including training and support. -
Core Facility for Transgenic Mice
Offers help with developing modified mice for medical research. -
CUBE - UCPH Biobank
Collects high-quality biological samples from large-scale studies in order to analyse them in collaboration with other researchers. -
In Vivo Imaging System (IVIS)
Offers specialised 3d scans of laboratory animals. -
National High-Througput DNA Sequencing Centre
Offers analyses on state of the art equipment for sequencing DNA. -
Panum NMR Core Facility
Offers MRI scans and NMR spectroscopy (both in-and ex-vivo), as well as data processing and visualisation. -
Substrate and Sterile Centre (SSC)
Offers the washing and sterilization of utensils for research groups. Produces media, cell culture media, buffers and substrates.
