Current research
I currently work on three collaborative research projects:
1) Global challenges, local solutions? Rethinking professional work in a transnational world (financed by FSE)
This project uses qualitative methods to inquire into contemporary changes in professional problemsolving, cooperation and conflict in three emerging, trans-local jurisdictions: urban climate adaptation, prevention of lifestyle diseases, and innovation management.
2) Urban green communities? On civic engaement and citizenship in urban nature and urban ecology (financed by Velux)
This project deploys digital methods, amongst other, to inquiry into the types of civic engagement emerging over the past 10-15 years in Denmark, including what kinds of political engagement is taking place in for instance community gardens and food collectives.
3) Coding attention: digital attention grabbing in and between producers of software (financed by ERC)
In the context of a large-scale reseasrch project led by Professor of Anthropology Morten Axel Pedersen, we inquire into the work of Danish software producers as they use and value user attention, as part of understanding the digital political economy of attention.
