Current research
How can technology use touch to improve everyday interactions? I research haptics and how it can improve interactions like user interfaces techniques, social touch and more. I focus on haptic technology that allows us to touch with actually touching any physical surface. We call this touchless haptics - the ability to feel touches mid air. Touchless haptics can be air, laser, ultrasound and more. Ultrasound haptic feedback utilises audio to create vibrations on our skin.
