Primary fields of research
My general field of research is pig diseases and porcine health management.
In detail I work with:
- optimising antmicrobial use in treatment of pig diseases with the aim to cure disease and simultaneously minimize development of antimicrobial resistance
- umbilical outpouchings including umbilical hernia - preventive measures
- diarrhoea in nursery pigs

I do occationally receive payment for presentations and teaching for private companies (Veterinary practice, Veterinary societies, The Danish Veterinary Association, Pharmaceutical companies), Board and committee work.
