I am a researcher involved in the interdisciplinary field between immunology and glycobiology, primarily working with mucin type O-glycosylation in relation to tumor immunology.
Primary fields of research
I am primarily interested in research related to mucin type O-glycosylation, immune regulation, effector T cell subsets and dendritic cells. Additionally, I have also been working with transplantation related immunity as well as regulatory T cell development and function.
Currently I am working on two projects, one involving MHC presentation and one involving allergy related immunity. Both incorporating aspects of mucin type O-glycosylation.
I teach MD and dentist students in cellbiology and i teach PhD students in applied cellular immunology.
