Kathrine holds a MSc in Cell Biology and Physiology from University of Copenhagen. She joined the Schwartz group in the fall of 2018 as a Research Assistant characterizing the lactate sensing metabolite receptors. She joined as a PhD fellow in 2019 where her PhD project focuses on lactate sensing in human cancers.
