Primary fields of research
As a researcher, I am particularly interested in the relations between aesthetics, society and science, with a special focus on culture, communication and innovation. I worked with:
- The importance of aesthetics for the sciences
- The interaction between aesthetics and markets in arts and design
- Sociology of innovation
- The interaction between research/arts and external parties
HumanImpact: HumanImpact is the first systematic Danish attempt to give Danish businesses access to specialised research based knowledge from the humanities about users and customers. The project tuns until 2020 and is funded by the Foundation for Danish Industries with 8 mio dkk. Project Partners: Danish Confederation of Enterprise, Danish Confederation of Industries and Symbion.
MOIP - Management and Organization of Innovation Partnerships. The project investigates leadership and organization of innovation partnerships as well as their impact. Participants from other universities: Signe Vikkelsø, professor Copenhagen Business School, Sen Chai, assistant professor ESSEC Business School, Willy Shih, professor Harvard Business School.
I head ph.d.-education at University of Copenhagens Faculty of Humanities. The PhD School offers international PhD programmes at the highest academic level, covering a wide range of fields within the humanities. The PhD School collaborates with researchers in many research and academic fields in Denmark and abroad, and with external stakeholders in the private and public sectors as well as in organizations.
