As part-time lecturer I teach and supervise the students at Film and Media Studies.
My PhD project (2014-2018) was about the development of the Danish public service broadcaster DR (Danish Broadcasting Corporation) as it adapts from being a traditional broadcaster of radio and television to becomming a multi platform player in a digital media landscape. More specifically I have studied how DR is handling its public service task on television by analysing, among other aspects, the development of the channel portfolio, the scheduling strategies and the interplay between the linear television channels and the online streaming and catch-up service DR TV. It is also a part of the project to scrutinize the development and redefinition of the public service notion itself.
