(af)Magt - (dis)Power in English - is a new event series created by the Danish Foreign Policy Society U35 (Det Udenrigspolitiske Selskab U35), UCPH Geopolitics and Copenhagen University Library in Fiolstræde. The series aims to help make sense of a confusing period in world history and provide a deeper understanding of the forces shaping the international order. 

(af)Magt takes place in a truly unique setting: the beautiful historic University Library in Fiolstræde. 

The first event in the series, (af)Magt will focus on the question: 
India: Ally, Rival or Something Else? 

We will be joined by a panel of distinguished researchers, diplomats and business professionals, all with extensive experience working with India. Together, they will take us on a journey into the wildcard of the world (dis)order and explore how the world looks from New Delhi — from geopolitical, commercial and historical perspectives.

Freddy Svane — Denmark’s former long-serving Ambassador to India and Japan 

Ravinder Kaur — Professor of Asian Studies at the Department of Cross-Cultural and Regional Studies, University of Copenhagen 

Klaus Prebensen — Investment Director at Impact Fund Denmark, with many years of experience working in India 

Moderator: Ester Marie Kapper — Board Member of the Danish Foreign Policy Society U35
