N2 - Our study intends to combine the concepts of paradigm and construction presented in Nørgård-Sørensen, Heltoft & Schøsler (2011) from a diachronic perspective, using Andersen’s (2008) theoretical framework on reanalysis, actualization and grammatical change. Our reflections will be illustrated by the French perception verb voir, because this verb is characterized by its multiple lexical and grammaticalized uses. Our goal is to identify the different constructional paradigms in which this unity appears.
