My research covers social and cultural aspects of food, eating and meals. Especially questions concerning disruptions and transitions over the life course and how these affect routines and practices around food and eating. My research also covers institutional meals and parental concerns about consumption aimed at children, and social and cultural questions related to aging.
Current research
Currently I work with the project “Loss of a spouse. Loss of appetite? This project concerns loss of a spouse in old age and the related disruption of everyday meal practices. The project is an individual postdoc supported by a grant from the Velux Foundation.
