Hello! Currently, I work as a PhD Fellow on the MetICE project where we study:

1) diurnal and seasons dynamics of methane (CH₄) and CO₂ emissions from subglacial meltwater of the Greenland Ice Sheet,

2) the source of the CH₄ and

3) how emissions are linked to glacial hydrology and hydrochemistry.

For long-term monitoring of dissolved CH₄ in glacial meltwater, we are developing low-cost, low-power sensors named "the IceWorms".

In side projects, I am exploring other glaciated areas to search for yet unknown glaciers that emitt CH₄ to learn more about the spatial distrubution of this recently discovered phenomenon.
