- Research focus
My research focuses on bacterial evolution and adaptation in biofilms, with special interest in development of antibiotic resistance with the aim of optimizing the treatment and improving the outcome of patients with chronic infections including the potential use of viruses (bacteriophages) to control pathogenic biofilms.
