The topic of my PhD studies is life cyle assessment of agricultural systems with a focus on closing nutrient loops.

In particular I conduct LCAs on:

• pig slurry acidification as emission abadement strategy
• insect production on agro-residues as alternative source for protein feed
• duckweed ponds as polishing step in wastewater treatment plants

I am part of the EU Horizon 2020 Research Programm Nutri2Cycle
