I have a background in sociology, and am particularly interested in the use of digital media, -teaching tools and learning analytics in education. I primarily work with quantitative methods from a wide range of data sources, from surveys to website-scrapings. I also use more mixed approaches, such as quantitative ethnography.
In my current position, I am investigating how university teachers' used technology in their teaching during CO-VID19.
During 2023, I will start participating in a project investigating multimodal learning analytics in collaboration among primary school students, and in what aspects of their group work students feel courageous in the face of failures.
