Linn Gillberg is a translational researcher who studied epigenetic, transcriptional and mitochondrial changes in type 2 diabetes, leukemia and breast cancer patients. She is currently investigating how chemo- and radiation therapy affect metabolic health and risk of type 2 diabetes in women with breast cancer. Her research aim to elucidate how epigenetic mechanisms interact with the genome and lifestyle/medical exposures in the progression of complex age-related diseases.
