I am interested in the synthesis-structure-properties relationships in nanomaterials and their applications for catalysis.
I completed a Marie-Skłodowska Curie Individual Research Fellow under the grant agreement 703366 - SELECTRON.
I am interested in the design, synthesis and characterisation of nanomaterials for energy and sustainability. In that respect, I developed a new surfactant-free synthesis of precious metal nanoparticles bearing ecological and economic beneftis over state-of-the-art syntheses (Co4Cat TM). The method leads to (electro)catalysts with superior activity versus commercial catalysts or benchmark materials for chemical synthesis and energy conversion.
