Primary fields of research
One central aspect of my research is to try and bridge the gap between quantum software and hardware. With a background in theoretical quantum optics and quantum information theory, I investigate how quantum algorithms and protocols can be devised and adapted to specific quantum hardware. Consequently, my research involves strong collaboration with various experimental groups. I'm particularly interested in investigating the oppertunities of quantum networks and how these may offer fundamentally new primitives compared to classical networks.
