My main scientific focus is epidemiology, population structure and evolution of veterinary and human pathogens.
In recent years, I have been extensively developing my applied bioinformatics skills, which included Illumina whole genome sequencing, sequences processing, and comparative genomic analysis of Gallibacterium anatis, Escherichia coli, Salmonella, etc. In addition, I have an interest and have been actively involved in projects investigating microbiome of both biotic and abiotic surfaces of veterinary importance.
