I work in the field of Political Anthropology. In my current research I investigate the reconfigurations of Syrian politics as it travels with Syrian refugees across international borders to Lebanon and Turkey. The project is ethnographic and based on 14 months of fieldwork among Syrians living in exile in Beirut, Istanbul and Gaziantep.
